Penticton - 3+ General Adult Psychiatrists and 1 Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist are needed to help lead the newly re-established Department of Psychiatry and integrated mental health service.  Apart from well established Short Term Counselling, Community Case Management and In-patient Services, we offer unique Vocational Rehabilitation, Physical Activation, and Mood Disorder Programming. Considered to be the 'jewel' of the South by those who reside here, Penticton is bordered by 2 lakes, has a growing estate winery industry and offers year round recreation from sailing to rock climbing.  As we are only a one hour drive from the International Airport at Kelowna and a 50 minute local flight or 4.5 hour scenic drive to Vancouver, Penticton is a great place to practice and establish a more positive work/life balance.
